How can I replace the battery in my Toyota key fob?
One of the key fobs for my Toyota died a while ago, but instead of changing the battery, I decided to just use the other one. Unfortunately, I lost the working one and am now stuck with the dead one. How do I put a new battery in my Toyota key fob?

Replacing the battery in your
Toyota
key fob is a quick and easy process if you follow these simple steps:- Buy the right battery type for your key fob. If you’re not sure which type of battery to buy, check your owner’s manual.
- Use the button at the top of your key fob to remove the manual key from the fob.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to separate the halves of the key fob.
- Take out the green circuit board very carefully.
- Remove the old battery and put the new one in.
- Snap the key fob back together and return the key to its housing.
