How can I remove the bar-end weights on my Honda?

I’ve had my Honda motorcycle for a few weeks now and I want to replace the handgrips with something a little more comfortable. To change them, I need to remove the bar-end weights. Any tips on how I can remove the bar-end weights on my Honda?

Congratulations on getting your new motorcycle! The bar-end weights in your handlebars are meant to keep your hands steady while you ride, but not at the cost of your comfort.
To remove your Honda’s bar-end weights, use a #2 Philips head screwdriver and loosen the screw at the end of the bar-end weight. Once the screw is loose, the bar-end weight should come off without any issues and you should be able to replace your handgrips.
While you’re taking the time to make your motorcycle more comfortable, take a moment to make sure that you’re comfortable with your
