How can I remove house paint from the body of my car?

I came out to my car this morning and apparently, someone thought it would be funny to use a roller to paint on several of the cars in the neighborhood, including mine. I don't have a lot of money, and this is honestly really frustrating. Is there an easy way that I can get rid of it?

“Vandalism is a really frustrating issue, and I’m sorry you’re having to deal with it! First off, if you have comprehension coverage, you should be covered for the cost of
repainting your car
, and likely won’t have to get rid of it yourself.
However, if you don’t have it or don’t want to file a claim, if the paint is still wet, hot water, soap, and scrubbing should get rid of it. If that doesn’t get rid of the paint, use these substances and a rag to remove the house paint:
  • Gasoline
  • Rubbing compound
  • Acetone
  • Lacquer thinner
If you want to avoid paying out of pocket or doing the hard labor yourself, try using the
Jerry app
to see how much it’ll cost to add comprehensive coverage to your policy. We’ll get you multiple quotes from top-of-the-line providers, so you can be sure you’re getting the best deal on the coverage you need. (And if you do want to switch to a new provider, we can help with that, too!)
Best of luck with getting everything taken care of—you’ve got this!”
