How can I play music from my Galaxy S4 with a car Bluetooth?

How can I connect or pair my Galaxy phone to my car? I recently got a new vehicle, but after playing around with all the functions, I still can't figure out how to connect my phone to the car using Bluetooth.

It’s normal for it to take some time to figure out the features of a new vehicle. I hope you love your new car nonetheless!
To play music from your Galaxy S4 using your car’s Bluetooth, follow these steps.
  • Step 1: Turn on your vehicle. Your stereo should also turn on, but if it doesn’t, power it on manually. Then, enable the pairing mode on your stereo. If you are unsure how, refer to the owner’s manual that came with the vehicle.
  • Step 2: Select the settings option on your phone. A menu of different features will appear. Search for connections and tap on that. Next, tap the switch next to the Bluetooth option to turn it on.
  • Step 3: Pause to let your phone detect your vehicle’s Bluetooth. Look at the available devices list on your phone to look for the car’s Bluetooth name. Once you see it pop up, select it. You may need to confirm your actions using the pairing code presented on your phone and/or stereo display.
Note that Bluetooth functions vary by vehicle. If you are experiencing difficulty connecting to your new car’s Bluetooth or discover the car does not support Bluetooth audio streaming, consider using an auxiliary (AUX) cable as an alternative option to play music from your phone in the car.
