can be done with these four simple steps: - Lift the hood release panel located on the driver’s side instrument panel inside the car; it is below the steering wheel, on the left
- Once you hear a pop, exit the car and slightly lift the hood up
- Using your hand, feel between the body of the car and the hood for the hood latch; it is located in the center front of the hood. Once you find it, push it to the left
- Push the hood straight up till it locks in place. You won’t need to worry about using a hood strut (that little metal stick), the hood will stay up on its own
