How can I open the gas tank on a Toyota RAV4?
I’m renting a new Toyota RAV4 this weekend, and so far I love the car. However, it’s time to fill the tank, and I can’t figure out how to open the gas tank. How does the gas tank open on a toyota RAV4?

To get your
Toyota RAV4’s
gas tank open, look underneath the dash on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. Next to the hood release, you should see a small button with a gas pump icon on it—push it, and the tank will open.If you’re renting a RAV4 built before 2019, look on the driver’s side floorboard near the door jamb. You should see a lever to pull up on to open the gas tank.
To remove the gas cap, turn it counter-clockwise (to the left) until it comes off.
