How can I make sure my insurance policy is still active?

How can I check on my policy status? I just got a message saying that my car insurance is pending cancelation, but I am set up on automatic payments. How is that possible?

I can definitely understand why you’d be concerned! Don’t worry, though—if you just received the message, there is a good chance that your policy is still active!
The fastest way to check on your policy is by downloading your
car insurance
 app or by viewing the billing online. If you have trouble logging in for the first time, call your insurance agent directly for billing and login assistance.
Setting up automatic payments on your policy is usually the best way to make the payments. However, it can be easy to forget to make updates to the card on file if you’ve changed your zip code, or if your old card has expired.
If your bank account shows that you have made this payment, but your insurance company says that you haven’t, email a copy of your bank transcript to your insurance agent. This should take care of any issues they have!
