How can I lower my car protections premium?

My car insurance policy has risen for the past three renewal periods. I have a pretty good driving record, so I have no idea why this is happening, but I definitely don't want to stick around if it's just going to rise again. How can I lower my premium? Should I just switch car insurance companies?

“Unexpected increases can be really frustrating! However, there are several strategies you can employ to lower your
car insurance
rate. Try these on for size:
  • Looking for
    discounts
(multi-car, alumni associations, good driver, etc.)
  • Take a defensive driving course
  • Raise your deductible
While these solutions may take some time, if you want instant results, you can always shop around to see if you’ll get a better deal from another provider. One easy way to do this is with the
Jerry
app—we’ll get you multiple customized quotes from different providers so that all you have to do is choose the policy that works best for you!
Best of luck, and may all your rates be low!”
