How can I keep my car warm at night in Minnesota?

Winter nights in Minnesota are downright frigid, and sometimes my car won't start in the morning. Is there any way I can keep my car warm at night? I'm getting really sick of having to start the engine half a dozen times before it gets going.

“That’s definitely frustrating, and freezing! The best way to keep your car warm in
Minnesota
is to store it in a heated garage.
If this isn’t possible, though, you still have several other options:
  • Cover the engine with an electric blanket
  • Attach the battery to a block heater
  • Put a light under the hood
If these solutions don’t work, don’t forget to utilize the
towing and labor coverage
on your car insurance policy to help if your car won’t start.
If your policy doesn’t have the coverage you need on towing and labor, it might be time to consider switching. One easy way to do this is with the
Jerry
app—we’ll get you personalized quotes from multiple top-of-the-line providers so all you have to do is choose which plan works best for you. And if you do want to switch, we’ll help with that, too!
Drive safely and stay warm!”
