How can I get my car to the mechanic if it won't start?

I'd rather not pay for a towing company to come pick it up from my house. Do I have any other options?

“As long as your vehicle is in a safe location, you can check to see if you have roadside assistance.
Many car insurance have roadside assistance services included in their policies, as do many major credit card companies.
If you have any level of membership with AAA, then you automatically have roadside assistance included.
If you’re shopping for roadside assistance plans, consider using Jerry to find the best rates. Jerry partners with Urgently, a roadside assistance service you can use with the simple click of a button.”
