How can I get liability insurance for an Enterprise rental car?

My fiancée rented a car from Enterprise and later added me as an additional driver on the contract. Enterprise does not afford the liability insurance to me since I was added after the rental term had begun. Is there any way I can get liability insurance on this rental car?

If you already have auto insurance, your
liability coverage
should extend to the rental as well. Contact your insurance company to confirm this.
If you do not have insurance, you could look into getting a
non-owners car insurance
policy. But again, you should confirm with the insurance company that this coverage would extend to a rental vehicle with a contract that pre-dates the insurance policy.
The easiest thing to do would be to turn in the rental and begin a new rental term with the appropriate coverage in place, either with a non-owners policy or coverage through the rental company.
