How can I get a new battery if the tow truck can't get into my parking garage?
What should I do if a tow truck can't access my car? I live in a downtown area and my car battery is dead. A good samaritan tried to jump start my car, but to no avail. I called roadside assistance, but their tow truck can't get inside the parking garage.

can’t access your car, your best bet is to get an Uber to take you to the nearest auto parts store.Bring your old battery; they’ll test it for free. If your old battery is completely dead, you’ll know it’s the problem.
Then, you can buy a new battery and install it in your vehicle. That should solve the problem.
If you’re a
AAA
member, they will bring a replacement battery you can buy from them. Their tow trucks won’t be able to reach you, but they may still be able to help.”View full answer
