How can I get a good deal on a Tesla?
I’ve been seeing more and more Teslas out on the road these days, and I think they’re awesome cars. I really would love to get one, but they are a little on the pricey side. Are there any ways I can get a good deal on a Tesla?

A Tesla is a great choice if you want to seriously drive in style but still show the planet a little love. While they are definitely pricey, here are four ways you can get a good deal on a Tesla:
- Buy used from a Tesla dealership. Buying used is almost always going to mean a price drop, but if you get your used Tesla from the dealership, they offer either a 4-year or 50,000 additional mile warranty, or a 2-year, up to 100,000 total mile warranty with your purchase. This deal is exclusively offered with Tesla at their dealerships.
- Buy an older model. Car companies don’t like to hold inventory longer than they have to, this includes older models that haven’t been sold. If you can locate a dealer holding inventory from the previous year, chances are, they’ll want to get rid of it as quickly as possible, which puts you in a position for a deal.
- Buy at the end of the quarter. Since stock prices for car companies rise and fall on quarterly earnings and units sold per quarter, dealers are encouraged to really push cars out the door at the end of each quarter. Wait until the last week of December, March, June, or September and you might be able to get your dream Tesla for a discount!
- Buy a showroom or test-drive model. Dealerships often offer large discounts for cars that have been used on the showroom floor or for test drives.
