How can I get a car unstuck from deep mud?

I want to take my car mudding with some of my friends, but it's not a four-wheel drive. How can I get a car unstuck from the mud if it gets stuck?

Great question! If you don’t have a four-wheel-drive vehicle, using your
towing and labor coverage
is probably the easiest way to get your car unstuck from the mud.
If you don’t have towing and labor, however, a friend with a winch is your next best bet!
If you don’t have either of these, don’t panic! Just find a board, floor mat, or other flat object and slide it underneath the tire(s) that are stuck in the mud. Get back in the car and accelerate slowly. With any luck, the leverage and momentum should get you out of the mud!
If you do want to add towing and labor coverage to your policy before your trip, though, check out the

app! We’ll get you personalized quotes from top providers so that all you need to do is pick the policy that works best for you.
Have a good trip, and bon voyage!
