How can I fix my car’s radio light?
For the last week or so, the display panel on my car radio has not been lighting up, and it’s been a pretty big nuisance. Is there a way I can fix my car radio’s light?

I’m sorry to hear about the troubles you’ve been having with your car radio display! The light on your car radio may not work if the connectors are dirty or there is a mode setting that needs to be changed.
There is a way to fix the problem yourself that you should try before taking it to the mechanic! You can try the following:
- Turn the display off and on.
- Check your car radio for a dimmer that can adjust the display. If your car’s audio system has this feature, play about with the dimmer settings.
- Press the reset button to restore the car radio to its base settings
You might also need to clean the connectors between the receiver and front panel by doing these steps:
- Open and remove the front panel.
- Clean the connectors on the front of the main unit and the back of the front panel using a cotton swab lightly dipped in alcohol.
- After about two minutes, reattach the front panel.
If this process doesn’t fix your car radio’s light, and your car manual isn’t able to offer any further guidance, you’ll probably have to take it in for a professional
