How can I find out who my car insurance is with?

How can I quickly find out who my car insurance is with? I told my mom I would buy my own car insurance, which I did. But now I can't remember what company it was, and she’s asking to see the ID card. I never printed it and need a new one. So where do I start looking?

I’m sorry to hear that you lost the card! However, there are a few places you can look to find your
car insurance
company. Try checking your email and your banking records first.
Almost all insurance companies require an email address before the policy is issued so they can get your ID card and other
policy documents
to your right away.
You should see at least one payment that you have made to an insurance company in the past six months on your bank statements. If you don’t, then the odds are you don’t have an active insurance policy.
Don’t panic if this is the case; just download the
Jerry
app! Jerry is an insurance comparison app that shops for low prices with over 50 different insurance companies. We’ll get you personalized quotes in seconds, so that all you need to do is choose the policy that works best for you. Once you buy a policy, the ID card is available in your email instantly—and with the in-app wallet function, your proof of insurance will only ever be a tap away!
Good luck with the search!
