It’s a good idea to keep track of the coverages included in your car insurance policy. There are several ways you can check for the details.
First, you likely have your
car insurance
ID card in your glove compartment. The card will have your policy number, which you can use to sign in to your provider’s online portal and check your coverages. You also should have been sent policy paperwork when you purchased your policy. These documents will have your coverage details, as well.
You also can contact your local DMV to check your insurance information. Call the DMV and give them your car’s VIN, which should be enough for them to look up your coverage information.
If you find that you need more coverage, look for a policy with
Jerry
. Jerry will provide you with quotes from up to 50 providers in minutes. Once you make your choice, Jerry will take care of all of the paperwork and changeovers for you. Jerry even keeps track of your policy details, so you never have to worry about losing your information again!
