How can I find cheap car insurance?

I'm paying $250 a month for full coverage car insurance. How can I find less expensive coverage?

“The price of your car insurance is dependent on different factors.
If you have a good driving record and have been insured continuously, you’re likely to have a lower rate than someone with a poor driving record who has had lapses of insurance. Full coverage on your vehicle is also more expensive than carrying liability coverage only.
To find cheap car insurance, you’ll need to look at multiple car insurance carriers. By comparison shopping, you’ll be able to find the best rate for the coverage you require.
If you can reduce the amount of coverage or don’t require both comprehensive insurance and collision insurance on your vehicle, this will also save money.”
