How can I disarm my car alarm?
Everytime I lock my car, the alarm goes off for some reason. Is there a good way to disarm my car alarm?

Sorry to hear about that inconvenient situation! If you want to permanently disarm your car alarm, you can remove the alarm fuse—but this also means that your car alarm will no longer be functional.
If you don’t want to completely disarm your car alarm, you can use your physical key to lock and unlock the car, since this circumvents the need to send an alarm-triggering signal from your keys. You could also try:
- Hitting the panic button
- Remotely locking or unlocking the car
- Opening the trunk (or using other buttons on the key fob) to see if the connection resets.
If your car alarm will not turn off no matter what, then the best option is to disconnect your car battery until you can get in touch with a professional.
