How can I delete Bluetooth on a Chevy Cruze?

I have a Chevy Cruze as a rental car for a few weeks, and I’d like to pair my phone with it. However, it still has the phones of a bunch of previous renters in the menu, and I can’t add mine! How can I delete Bluetooth on a Chevy Cruze?

With everyone having a smartphone these days, this happens pretty often in rentals! Here’s how you can delete a Bluetooth device on a
Chevy Cruze
:
  • Locate the Bluetooth menu on the car’s infotainment screen.
  • Depending on the year, you may need to select Configurations > Phone settings > Bluetooth > Device list
  • Delete any unwanted devices by following the onscreen prompts
This should clear up some space and allow you to connect your phone!
When it comes time to return your
rental car
, remember to take a minute to delete your phone from the car’s menu, and the car from your phone’s Bluetooth menu. This is not only a smart move for security and privacy, but it also prevents future renters from having the same problem you’re facing now!
