What’s the easiest way to cover my windows for sleeping? My boyfriend and I are driving to Yosemite from Los Angeles to go camping. Instead of pitching a tent, we are going to sleep in our car.

There are many DIY options available for
car camping
. Unless you are interested in tinting your windows, the easiest option to cover your car windows for sleeping will require the following:- A regular windshield cover
- Clean bedsheets
- Medium to large binder clips
Step one: Use the windshield cover to block the interior side of the windshield.
Step two: Now working from the back seat, take a medium binder clip and have the clip mouth face up. Insert one of the wire hands of the clip between the car’s interior and headliner. Continue this process of wedging the binder clips around the headliner of your vehicle. Or if your interior trim uses screws to hold it in place, you can secure the binder clips to the screws instead.
Step three: Clip your bedsheets with the binder clips to hold them in place. Continue hanging up the sheets until the windows on the sides of the vehicle and the trunk are covered.
There you go, a simple and inexpensive way to block light and get privacy.
