How can I clean mold out of a car?

I went on a weekend trip a few days ago and left my car parked at the train station. I didn't realize that I had left my windows down and rain got into my car. The moisture seems to have caused some mold in my car. How can I clean mold out of a car?

It’s always a bummer when rain gets into your car - but it happens. The best way to get rid of mold inside your car is to clean the area thoroughly first with a vacuum then use white vinegar mixed with water to kill off the mold spores.
Spray a generous amount on the moldy areas and allow it to sit for about 20 minutes. Make sure that you have good air ventilation throughout this process and for a few hours afterward.
Once the area is dry, pour baking soda over the area and vacuum it away to remove any remaining smells.
