How can I check to see if a car is insured?

My young adult son purchased his first car a few months back, but shortly after he got a ticket for driving without insurance. Naturally, this worries me because I don’t want him to be driving a car without insurance. However, I also don’t want to make things weird between us by bringing up a touchy subject. Is there a way to check if a car is insured?

That must be worrisome and a bit frustrating as a parent because
driving without car insurance
is never a good thing. However, if you do not own the vehicle and are not involved in an accident with your son, there is no way to check without involving him.
The only advisable way to handle this situation is to speak with your son directly. Keep in mind that mistakes happen and maybe his
car insurance
company didn’t report his active policy to the DMV accurately.
If you feel he is uninsured due to financial reasons, an easy way to bring up the subject is to mention how
Jerry
can save money on his insurance policy. Jerry compares free quotes from up to 50+ car insurance companies to ensure he is getting the best rate possible so it may be worth mentioning it to him. The best part? He will have quotes within 45 seconds and as soon as he purchases the policy, his new insurance company will email a PDF copy of the ID card to him immediately.
