How can I check the ignition coil in a Honda City?

I’ve noticed a lot of shaking and jerking when I idle my car. A friend of mine said it could be due to the ignition coil. What’s the best way to check the ignition coil in my Honda City?

Car problems can be frustrating, especially when they seem outside our field of knowledge. Luckily, you can usually tell if your car has a faulty ignition coil by putting your car in idle and checking for any rough shaking. If it shakes, then you can check your ignition coil with an OBD II scanner and a spark tester.
Before you begin, park your car on an even surface and allow it to cool down. Once you’re certain the car is cool, follow these instructions to check your ignition coil:
    1. Connect the OBD II scanner to the data link connector located under the dashboard on your driver’s side. Turn the ignition on and give the scanner time to find which cylinder, if any, has the issue.
    1. Turn off your engine and remove the problematic coil. Inspect the other coils for any signs of damage.
    1. Connect your spark tester to the ignition coil and attach the ground wire.
    1. Plug in the connector and start the engine.
    1. If there is a spark, then the coil’s in working condition! But if there isn’t, the coil is damaged.
If the ignition coil is damaged, you’ll need to take your car to a mechanic and have it replaced. While ignition coil replacements can be pricey, you can offset the cost by saving on
