How can I check my car insurance renewal date?

I've had my current car insurance policy for close to six months. I thought it was supposed to renew soon, but I haven't seen anything yet. How do I check my renewal date?

Knowing your
car insurance
renewal date is important to your well-being and finances, so that’s great that you’re staying on top of it!
The easiest way to check your renewal date is to look at your
policy declaration page
. Your policy declaration page lists all the important information about your policy, including your policy term dates.
Your renewal date is the date your current policy term ends as long as your insurance company chooses to renew your policy.
Another way to check your renewal date is to check your online account or ID card. If your policy documents are delivered electronically, you may have received an email with your renewal notice in it. Most car insurance companies send out your renewal notice 30 to 60 days before your renewal date.
If you still can’t find the information you need, simply call your insurance company and get the information directly from a customer service agent.
Since rate increases are common around renewals, consider shopping around once you find out your renewal rate. If you’d rather leave the hard work of gathering quotes to someone else, use Jerry. This app can collect quotes from up to 50 top insurance companies in seconds!
