How can I check my car insurance policy online?
I’ve had Progressive for years now, and I’ve always received my information by mail. My son told me that if I decided to go paperless I would receive an 8% discount on my policy, so I let him do it—but now I’m not sure how to check my policy online. How should I check my car insurance policy online?

The paperless discount was a great decision for your budget and the planet, but I understand that the adjustment can be a little odd. I’m happy to say that it’s easier than it might seem, though—to check your car insurance policy online, you’ll just have to sign into the
Progressive
website. To do this, you’ll need your username and password, both of which your son probably wrote down for you somewhere. If you can’t find them, just give him a call to ask about them.
If you cannot get access to this information, you’ll want to call Progressive’s customer service line at 1-888-671-4405. When you get in touch with a representative, explain your situation and provide them with your
policy number
and information (which can be easily found on your old insurance paperwork or insurance card) so that they can confirm your identity.While speaking with a customer service representative, ask about using their online services, as well as any
insurance discounts
that they might be offering in addition to your paperless discount.
