How can I buy a decommissioned cop car?

I’ve always loved cop cars ever since I was a kid. But now that I’m older, a buddy of mine told me that I could probably find one on the cheap. Where can I buy a decommissioned cop car?

To buy a decommissioned cop car, the best places to look are at police auctions.
When a car has reached the end of its useful life, police departments often hold auctions to unload their old inventory.
However, the old adage of “buyer beware” comes into play: Old cop cars have often had their limits put to the test and may suffer from a lack of routine maintenance.
If you want to buy a decommissioned cop car, you may not get the opportunity to have a mechanic look at it, but you could get to
buy a used car
at a great price. These may offset each other, but it’s still a good idea to know the risks involved.
