Have there been any Jeep Commander recalls?

I drive a 2007 Commander and I’ve seen quite a few posts in online forums about recalls. Have there been any Jeep Commander recalls?

There has been a variety of minor
Jeep Commander
recalls related to the electrical system.
To find out whether your Commander is impacted, call your local Jeep dealer. Have your VIN on hand before you pick up the phone so the dealer can look up your specific model.
There were approximately 14 recalls issued on the Jeep Commander between 2006 and 2010. While most are related to the electrical system, a few are related to the powertrain, engine, or interior accessories.
It’s important to take note of recalls and respond to them as soon as possible. Otherwise, your insurance company could claim that you were negligent and excuse themselves from covering a related accident. Yikes!
Ultimately, the Jeep Commander was discontinued in 2010 due to quality issues. If you’ve noticed a problem with your Commander, you’re not alone! Reach out to your Jeep dealer for help.
