Does Zipcar have a cancellation fee?

I need to cancel the trip I booked for tomorrow afternoon. Will I be charged a fee?

“Zipcar doesn’t charge a separate cancellation fee, but depending on the timeframe, you may be charged for the price of the trip.
Here are the timeframes you must abide by to avoid being charged:
  • If you just made the reservation, you have 30 minutes to cancel or modify after booking.
  • For reservations less than eight hours, you can cancel or modify your reservation up to three hours before the start time.
  • For reservations that are eight hours or longer, you must give notice 24 hours in advance.
If your reservation for tomorrow is under eight hours, you should be able to cancel now and not pay anything for the reservation.”
