will never pay for the move itself. However, if your possessions are damaged by a named peril during the move, you’ll be covered. Named perils are sudden, unexpected issues like theft and fire. Damage done while (literally) moving items, like banging a dresser against a wall, won’t be covered.Plus, if you’re hiring professional movers, many movers have insurance, so they’ll cover any damage they cause to your possessions during the moving process.
