Does USAA insurance cover a rebuilt title?

I’m a veteran who gets a great rate with USAA insurance. I recently got a rebuilt title for a fixer-upper I own, but I’m not sure what USAA’s policy is on covering these kinds of cars. Will they insure a rebuilt vehicle?

You’re right that rebuilt vehicles aren’t every insurer’s cup of tea. But you’re with the right provider!
USAA insurance
does cover a
rebuilt title
.
You’ll have the opportunity to purchase a full coverage policy from USAA on a rebuilt-titled vehicle, as long as it’s been properly inspected. Rebuilt titles are designated to vehicles that were previously written off as a total loss by insurance providers due to extensive damage and given a salvage title.
Salvage-titled vehicles are cheap to purchase but aren’t legal to drive due to their dilapidated condition. It’s certainly possible to make the extensive repairs required to
remove a salvage title
and replace it with a rebuilt title, but not all insurance companies will provide
car insurance
for it.
Luckily, USAA will insure a rebuilt car, and you’ll probably get a good rate, too! USAA is known for offering some of the best rates in the country to qualifying military personnel and their dependents.
