“Travelers offers ridesharing coverage in two states:
Since you are currently located in Texas, you won’t be able to add rideshare insurance to your current policy.
Rideshare insurance typically covers the gap between your personal auto policy and the ridesharing app’s insurance. Depending on Travelers requirements, you may be able to add a commercial policy to your vehicle for rideshare coverage.
If not, you’ll need to look into carriers that offer ridesharing coverage in Texas. You’ll want to request car insurance quotes to determine what the best carrier for you will be.”

Why does it cost more to add ridesharing coverage to my policy?
Why does ridesharing coverage cost so much more? I am adding ridesharing coverage to my policy and it's increasing my rate. I already have full coverage so it doesn't seem like it should cost me more.
