Mercedes A-class
have available adaptive cruise control, in addition to a host of driver-assist features that make driving effortless. Mercedes vehicles offer adaptive cruise control as part of their Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go and Active Driving Assistance Package—but this is optional on some models of the A-class. This feature has the same benefits as conventional cruise control but adds distance control. This allows the car to orient itself relative to other vehicles on the road, accelerating or braking depending on its distance from the vehicle in front of you.
On top of cruise control, the A-class also comes standard with plenty of other great features, including:
- Blind spot assist
- Active brake assist
- Collision mitigation-front
- Tire-specific low-pressure tire warning
- Back-up camera
- Automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
