Does the Mazda RX-8 have Bluetooth?

We’re going to take a long trip in my sister’s car, but she doesn’t even know if it has Bluetooth or not so I can stream music for the drive. Does the Mazda RX-8 have Bluetooth?

If your sister’s
Mazda RX-8
is a model year 2007 or older, then it definitely does not have Bluetooth. If it’s a 2008 or newer model, it might have Bluetooth connectivity. The feature was available as an option on some trim levels.
However, even if your sister’s car didn’t come with Bluetooth, you can still get it! If your sister doesn’t mind, you can
add a Bluetooth adapter
to enjoy streaming music and hands-free call. These adapters are easy to install and they’re super affordable, with many costing less than $10.
An aftermarket Bluetooth adapter is a simple upgrade that plugs right into your vehicle’s cassette deck or auxiliary audio jack. Once it’s plugged in, you’ll just need to follow the adapter’s instructions to pair your device and start streaming.
However, before you set out on your trip, make sure you and your sister have brushed up on some
safe driving tips
. Bluetooth makes calling and listening to music more convenient, but it’s not a guarantee against
distracted driving
.
