I’m in the market for a used luxury car and the Lexus 250 seems like a natural fit for my tastes and budget. I’m not super concerned about what model year I get, just so long as I can find a stick shift, if possible. Does the Lexus 250 offer a manual transmission?

Produced from 2007 until 2015, the Lexus 250, officially known as the
Lexus IS 250
is an excellent choice if you want to get a sporty, opulent, and reliable used car. The Lexus 250 comes with a six-speed manual transmission, but only on models made between 2007 and 2012.Following the 2012 model year, Lexus equipped the IS 250 with either a six-speed or eight-speed automatic transmission.
Unfortunately, used models of the Lexus 250 with a manual transmission aren’t all that easy to find. A major shift in the tastes of American drivers during this time resulted in fewer and fewer purchases of stick shifts.
