Does the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo have a manual transmission?

I’ve always wanted to own a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It has great looks and can handle my cargo and off-road needs. I just want to make sure that I can get it with a stick. Does the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo offer a manual transmission?

First produced in 1993, the
Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
has been a stalwart in the Jeep lineup for almost 30 years. Unfortunately, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo only came with a manual transmission in 1993 and 1994. During these years, it had a standard five-speed stick shift.
Starting in 1995, Jeep ditched the manual transmission in favor of a four-speed automatic transmission. Subsequent generations switched to a six-speed automatic and then to the eight-speed automatic transmission that’s available in current Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo models.
While the early models of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo are difficult to find, especially without rust issues, you can bring one home for about $2,000 if you’re lucky. Just make sure to protect your new-to-you vehicle with a car insurance policy via the
