Does the Hyundai warranty cover brakes?

Getting a great warranty on a new car is important to me. After doing some research, I found that Hyundai’s warranty is one of the best in the business but I want to know more about it. Will a Hyundai warranty cover brakes?

Hyundai
certainly offers arguably the best warranty in the industry. Plus, the Hyundai warranty covers brakes and brake components under its 1-year, 12,000-mile wear-item warranty.
Outside of this warranty, the 5-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty may cover brakes, but only if the brakes fail as part of a manufacturer’s defect. In most cases, faulty brakes are the result of normal wear and tear, so they would not be covered by the Hyundai warranty.
