Does the Hyundai powertrain warranty cover wheel bearings?

I was driving recently and I noticed some humming sounds when I made a turn. I took it to a mechanic, and he told me that the wheel bearings are starting to go bad, but they may be covered under my warranty. Are wheel bearings covered under the Hyundai powertrain warranty?

If you’re still within the 10-year/100,000-mile threshold since the car was first purchased, the
Hyundai
powertrain warranty should cover wheel bearings. Wheel bearings are part of the powertrain, so they’re under warranty along with the engine, transmission, turbocharger, gears, seals, and gaskets.
If you’re outside of the warranty for any reason, the cost to replace a single wheel bearing is between $150 and $350 on most Asian cars. But since the Hyundai warranty is one of the most generous in the industry, hopefully, you won’t have any issues.
