Does the Honda warranty cover a cracked windshield?

I just bought a Honda vehicle. I was driving the other day and a rock glanced off my windshield, making a huge mark in it. I don’t want to pay for it if I don’t have to. Is a cracked windshield covered by the Honda warranty?

Unfortunately, the
Honda
 warranty will likely not cover your cracked windshield. The 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty only covers damage or problems due to a manufacturer’s defect. Because the damage occurred while you were driving and was not due to an error on the part of Honda, your cracked windshield isn’t covered by the warranty.
