Does the Honda Fit have any trunk space?
I’m looking to pick up a used subcompact car before I begin a cross-country trip in a few months. However, I don’t know a lot about the various models. Does the Honda Fit have any trunk space? I need to have enough room to put some duffle bags in the back when my Welsh Corgi and I set out on our travels.

How exciting! Traveling with your best friend is certainly something to look forward to.
Now, in terms of the Honda Fit, it doesn’t actually have a trunk—it has a hatchback, which may better suit your needs. With the back seats in the upright position, the Fit has 16.6 cubic square feet of storage space, plenty of room for your luggage. Your Corgi would then have the back seat to himself.
However, Honda has also installed what they call Magic Seats. This means that you can fold down the back seats (and the passenger seat as well), turning the back of the car into an impressive 52.7 cubic square feet of cargo area. If you plan to crate your Corgi, this might be the route to take.
So, if you’re looking to save gas and need a flexible hatchback, the Honda Fit may very well suit your needs. Have a wonderful adventure with your best friend!
