Does the Ford Explorer Sport have a manual transmission?

I used to drive a Ford Explorer, and I’m interested in getting a new one, but I’m wondering if the newer models still offer a manual transmission. Does the Ford Explorer Sport trim come in a manual?

Buying a new car is always an exciting experience! Unfortunately, the
Ford Explorer Sport
ceased to offer a manual transmission option when its fourth-generation upgrades were introduced in 2006.
That being said, if you don’t mind driving a used Ford Explorer Sport, there are still plenty of old models on the market that do offer a five-speed manual transmission, including:
  • First-gen Explorer Sport (1991-1994)
  • Second-gen Explorer Sport (1995-2001)
  • Third-gen Explorer Sport (2002-2005)
Regardless of the model year you decide to go with, it’s always a good idea to invest in reliable
