Does the Chevrolet Volt have Android Auto?
I recently bought a Chevy Volt and have been trying to connect my Android smartphone, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Does the Chevrolet Volt have Android Auto?

Great question! Whether or not your Chevrolet Volt has Android Auto largely depends on the vehicle’s model year.
If you own a Chevy Volt built between 2011 and 2015, you don’t have Android Auto—but any Volt produced from 2016 onwards has Android Auto compatibility.
You can, however, purchase an Apple CarPlay/Android Auto upgrade for Chevy Volts built between 2011 and 2015. Even if you own an older model, you aren’t completely out of luck when it comes to connecting your smartphone.
Upgrade units will cost several hundred dollars (from $150 up to $700 or more, depending on what kinds of functionality you want) and may require you to plug in your phone to achieve connectivity.
Hope this helps!
