The 2012 Buick Enclave CXL was made available in all-wheel drive. That’s the last year that the CXL was made, but current models of the Enclave are also available with all-wheel drive for an additional $2,000.

Most sedans and SUVs come with standard front-wheel drive, where power is supplied only to the two front wheels and the rear wheels are pulled along passively. All-wheel drive supplies power to all four wheels, giving the vehicle more traction as each wheel turns.
All-wheel drive is typically always active, unlike four-wheel drive (4WD) which also powers all four wheels, but can be manually turned on and off. Because four-wheel-drive systems have low- and high-range selections, a 4WD vehicle can harness more low-end torque and is the go-to drivetrain for off-road enthusiasts.
All-wheel and four-wheel drivetrain systems cost extra money upfront and are also typically more expensive to insure, causing your overall cost of car ownership to go up.
