Does the Acura TLX have a manual transmission?

What type of transmission is in the Acura TLX? I like the way that it looks, but my car will eventually be the one that my daughter learns to drive in and I don’t want to have to teach her stick shift.

The Acura TLX has a 10-speed automatic transmission, although it does offer a manual-shift mode for the stick-shift lovers out there. You also have the option to purchase the TLX with a fully manual transmission, though it sounds like that’s not your preferred transmission type.
However, there are some benefits to teaching your daughter how to drive a stick shift. While it might be a pain to teach (and a pain for her to learn), it will give your daughter a lot more options when she’s shopping for cars in the future.
