Does the 2012 Honda Accord have Bluetooth?
I’ve found a used 2012 Honda Accord and I’m considering making an offer on it. But my commutes won’t be the same unless I have telephone abilities, not to mention being able to listen to my full complement of Barry Manilow deep cuts that are safely tucked away on my phone. So, does a 2012 Honda Accord have Bluetooth capability?

Can’t face those long commutes without the right driving music! Only the 2012 Honda Accord EX-L trim has Bluetooth capability, so you’ll want to try and find that trim if you’re dead-set on having Bluetooth.
While a USB interface became standard on Honda vehicles in 2012, Bluetooth was only available on the Accord if you purchased a top EX-L trim. On the used market, it’s anyone’s guess if you’ll be able to find one. That said, if you get lucky and find the 2012 Honda Accord EX-L with Bluetooth capability, you’ll be set!
While it will depend on what kind of smartphone you have, you’ll likely follow these (or similar) steps to set up your Bluetooth on a 2012 Accord EX-L:
- Make sure the ignition is turned to the ACCESSORY position
- Push the SETTINGS button
- Turn the control knob to SYSTEM SETTINGS on the Accord’s multimedia screen and hit enter
- Scroll down to BLUETOOTH DEVICE LIST and press enter
- Select the ADD BLUETOOTH DEVICE tab on the multimedia screen
- Make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is set to ON, and then tap OK on the car’s screen to start the pairing process
- Select Car Care Kiosk on the screen
- The screen will now give you a six-digit number—compare it to the number that shows up on your smartphone and hit PAIR on your phone
- You’ll get a message on the Accord’s screen telling you your smartphone and the car are now paired
