You may be happy to know that yes, the 2011 Dodge Charger does have Bluetooth capabilities—but you’ll usually only find it in the R/T trim.
While it is possible for the base 2011
Dodge Charger SE
to have Bluetooth as an add-on, it only came standard in the R/T trim
. Some other standard R/T luxuries include a bigger 8.4-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, and satellite radio.In case this is your deciding factor to put money down on a 2011 Charger, here’s how to connect a device to Bluetooth:
- On the Charger’s infotainment screen, press the phone icon
- Confirm “Yes” that you would like to pair a phone
- A pop-up will appear on your touchscreen with directions and a PIN
- On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select “UConnect” under “Available Devices”
- Enter the PIN from your touchscreen
And voila! You can officially make those hands-free calls via voice commands or by pressing the phone button on the Charger’s touchscreen. Fortunately, most Bluetooth-capable Dodge Chargers from 2011 and up will follow the same simple process to pair a phone to Bluetooth, too.
