Does the 2008 Dodge Avenger have Bluetooth?

I recently bought a used Dodge and I’m not sure the best way to connect my phone. Did the 2008 Dodge Avenger come with Bluetooth?

Bluetooth connectivity isn’t necessarily the first feature you’d associate with pre-2010 used cars but the 2008
Dodge Avenger
had Bluetooth on higher trims.
Bluetooth did not come on the entry-level 2008 Avenger SE, but it could be had on the
Avenger SXT
and
R/T
trim configurations. Unfortunately, there’s a catch: the 2008 Dodge Avenger Bluetooth only supports hands-free calling. You will not be able to play any music from your phone with a Bluetooth connection.
Luckily, the 2008 Dodge Avenger came equipped with an auxiliary jack on all models. All you need is an auxiliary cord and/or a dongle for your phone or device. You can also
add a bluetooth adapter to your older car
specifically for music.
Bluetooth connectivity is a great way to use devices hands-free, and it could even help you out with your
car insurance
rates! By cutting down on
distracted driving
, you’ll avoid violations that could cause your insurance rates to skyrocket—and you could even earn a discount!
