Does the 2006 Lexus ES 330 have Bluetooth?
My grandpa said I could use his old 2006 Lexus ES 330 while he’s up at the cabin for the summer. I haven’t driven it for a while and am not sure what features it has. Does the 2006 ES 330 come with Bluetooth?

That’s nice of your grandpa to let you use his car! Unfortunately, the 2006 Lexus ES 330 does not have Bluetooth. Even though Lexus introduced Bluetooth capability for some of its models in 2003, the lineup took a few more years to implement the feature on every vehicle.
The 2006 Lexus came with the following standard audio features:
- AM/FM radio
- 7 speakers with 1 subwoofer
- Radio data system
- Diversity antenna
Optional features included:
- Satellite radio (new for this model year)
- DVD-based navigation system with voice activation
- Mark Levinson audio system
- In-dash six-disc CD changer
Even if your grandpa’s particular 2006 ES 330 has the optional features, they probably won’t be enough to make up for the lack of Bluetooth for your summer ride. But if your grandpa’s cool with it, you can look into a Bluetooth adapter so that you can pair your phone.
Not only will it allow you to stream your music and make hands-free calls, but using Bluetooth can help you stay safe on the road by reducing distracted driving.
