Does the 2006 Infiniti M35 have Bluetooth music?

I have my eyes on a 2006 Infiniti M35 that I found on Craigslist. However, I want to make sure that I can play music through the Bluetooth system. Is this possible?

While the 2006
Infiniti M35
has Bluetooth, it does not have the functionality to play music from your library or via streaming. The M35’s Bluetooth system is only available for hands-free calling and voice recognition. So while it’s a nice feature in terms of safety, it’s not really an entertainment amenity.
Nevertheless, you can still listen to music from your phone on the cheap with one of two options:
  1. Add a Bluetooth adapter
. For about $20, you can hook this adapter to your M35 stereo and use it to play music from your phone with similar audio quality to a regular Bluetooth system.
  2. Purchase an ⅛-inch audio jack and plug it into the auxiliary port of the M35.
Although it may not be up to snuff with more modern radio set-ups, going with a simple adapter or aux cord is a much cheaper alternative to a whole new
sound system
. Not to mention, neither will cause your
car insurance
rates to raise in the way that an aftermarket upgrade could.
