Does South Carolina have toll roads?

I’m moving from Arizona to South Carolina soon, and I keep hearing there are a lot of toll roads on the east coast. We don’t have any toll roads in Arizona, so I’m not sure if it's something I need to worry about. Does South Carolina have toll roads?

Moving to a new state can be stressful, so looking for South Carolina driving tips is a great way to prepare for your move! While the Palmetto State deals with its share of accidents and traffic, it only has one toll road.
The toll road known as the Southern Connector is a 16-mile strip of Interstate 185 located in Greenville County. The toll road includes two toll plazas that accept payments in cash or by credit card—but you can also speed up the process by applying for a Palmetto Pass. This electronic toll collection system will automatically scan your vehicle, allowing you zip through the toll plazas at 45 miles per hour.
